9. Brandon
Did you really think I was going to break down my own draft strategy?
Okay, seriously. I was going to. I really was. But I saved myself for last knowing everyone would likely much rather have a piece focusing on themselves. That left precious little time for my own entry. And with draft day upon us, the truth is that I simply ran out of time.
So let me just say that I hope you enjoyed reading these draft previews. They took far more time than I ever anticipated and that's okay. Because they were fun to write. And yet I had hoped for them to be so much more with graphics, tables and charts included. Oh well. I still managed to write about Winston Churchill, the win probability function and Talladega Nights. Not bad.
Moving forward, my plan is to update this site with more content on a somewhat weekly basis. Basically what I have been doing on the Facebook page, but in a more readily digestible format. You know the drill—weekly recaps, historical context, Power Rankings and of course playoff odds when we get there a little later in the season. Of course, I reserve the right to completely fail at that and never post a single other thing.
Lastly, I would love for you (yes, you) to help contribute to our new league page. The more, the merrier. If you have an idea for a column, a cartoon, listicle or whatever, I'm more than happy to post it to the site on your behalf. Or I can get you a login so you can do it yourself. Just text or email me and we can figure it out. And if you have a comment or a question, feel free to leave it in the comments of the article or on the corresponding post on Facebook. I'm still figuring out what the best format for that would be, but we'll figure it out together.
Thanks and good luck to all this season!
